Atelier Zweig LLC sells rare books, manuscripts, and related printed material. We prepare descriptions in good faith and aim to identify all material features known to us, including edition, printing, binding, completeness, condition, defects, restoration, provenance where known, and other relevant details.
Images form part of the description but may not show every feature, defect, or characteristic. Although we make reasonable efforts to display images accurately, color, scale, texture, and condition may appear differently depending on screen, lighting, photography, or image settings.
Customers are encouraged to request additional photographs, condition reports, or clarification before purchase.
All items described as “first edition” are first impressions, first printings, or first issues, unless otherwise stated.
Atelier Zweig LLC guarantees the authenticity of every item it sells and, where applicable, its completeness as described.
If an item is materially not as described, please contact us promptly at info@atelierzweig.com. Our return and refund terms are set out in the Shipping, Returns & Guarantee page.
All items are subject to prior sale. Many items are unique, consigned, represented on behalf of another owner, or offered through more than one channel. An order is not final until reviewed and confirmed by Atelier Zweig LLC.
If an item is unavailable after an order is placed, Atelier Zweig LLC will cancel the order and refund any payment received.
After an order is placed, Atelier Zweig LLC may review the order for availability, payment verification, shipping feasibility, due-diligence requirements, and accuracy of item and price information.
A contract is formed only when Atelier Zweig LLC confirms acceptance of the order or dispatches the item, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are listed in the currency shown on the website. Atelier Zweig LLC reserves the right to correct errors in pricing, availability, item descriptions, shipping charges, taxes, or other information.
If an error affects an order you placed, we will contact you before proceeding. We may cancel an order affected by a material error and refund any payment received.
Payments through atelierzweig.com are processed in the United States. Available payment methods may vary by order value, destination, verification requirements, and fraud-prevention review.
For high-value items, first-time customers, institutional purchases, or transactions requiring additional verification, Atelier Zweig LLC may request payment by wire transfer or another form of cleared funds.
For high-value transactions, purchases through agents or advisers, institutional purchases, or transactions involving regulated material, Atelier Zweig LLC may request identification, proof of address, beneficial ownership information, source-of-funds information, trade references, or other due-diligence documentation before accepting or dispatching an order.
All items remain the property of Atelier Zweig LLC until payment has been received in full.
Customers are responsible for any sales tax, use tax, customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees, local handling charges, storage fees, or other governmental or carrier-imposed charges that apply to their order, unless otherwise stated in writing.
For international orders, customs procedures and import charges are outside Atelier Zweig LLC’s control. We declare shipments accurately and cannot mark purchases as gifts or understate values.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that an item may be lawfully imported into the destination country and for complying with all applicable import restrictions, customs requirements, cultural-property rules, CITES rules, sanctions, and local tax obligations.
Printed books shipped to customers in Norway are generally zero-rated for Norwegian VAT under current Norwegian rules, but customs declaration requirements and charges may still apply depending on the item, shipment, and destination.
Shipping, insurance, delivery estimates, customs responsibilities, returns, and damage-in-transit procedures are described in the Shipping, Returns & Guarantee page, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
